What We Collect
When you use the QR generator, we may collect usage analytics such as page views, QR creation events, QR scan events, button clicks, approximate technical context, browser language, device details, referrer, timezone, a hashed version of your IP address, and a hashed first-party visitor identifier when cookies are available. When you create a QR code, we store the destination phone number, optional tracking number, website link, quote link, campaign label, service area, and routing notes used for that QR.
Optional Contact Information
If you submit the optional contact form, we collect the name, email, phone number, company, consent checkbox status, consent text, timestamp, and technical context associated with that submission.
Customer Portal Accounts
If you create or use a customer portal account, we store the verified email address, customer ID, optional company name, login provider, session state, last login time, and QR records attached to that customer. Email verification codes are stored only as hashed codes with short expiration windows.
How We Use Information
We use analytics to understand usage, improve the product, monitor abuse, and measure QR creation, scan activity, call clicks, website clicks, and quote clicks. Call-click and scan records may include the QR ID, campaign label, business phone number, tracking number, call target, clicked action, and related attribution fields. If a call-tracking provider is connected, we may also store attributed call metadata such as call status, duration, tracking number, destination number, caller number, provider, and recording link when supplied by that provider. We use optional contact details for marketing only when you affirmatively opt in.
Cookies
We use limited first-party cookies and local browser storage for attribution, abuse prevention, analytics, and display preferences. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Marketing Choices
Consent is not required to use the free QR tool. If you opt in to marketing calls or texts, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
hCaptcha
We use hCaptcha to help detect automated abuse. hCaptcha may process device and interaction data according to its own policies. Learn more at hCaptcha.
What We Do Not Know
A QR scan or call-button click does not confirm that a phone call was completed unless a connected call-tracking provider reports the call event. We also do not treat a QR target phone number as the scanner's personal phone number or as marketing consent.
